Thank you for visiting my site! It’s been more than a few years since I’ve shared any news or information on this blog, so let me begin by introducing a refreshed and updated website for Clearing House. Finally!
Over the last five years I’ve taken a turn with my professional organizing and productivity services business to focus on a segment of this market. I’ve pivoted from work in residential and business organizing to consulting on financial organizing and daily money management needs. My updated business website now reflects more accurately the work I do and the clients I serve. I’m excited to now formally present this shift for Clearing House, and connect with those who are interested in learning about it.
Despite the challenges of the past 18 months in navigating a small business through Covid-19 workplace restrictions, while trying to sustain client needs, the experience reinforced my choice a few years ago to take my business in this direction. Scaling back to offer recurring support to a smaller pool of clients, over a wide range of duties in the personal finance realm, is a better fit for my skill set and workplace style. Although I limit the number of active clients I support in any given month, I remain available as a community resource and help connect those who I can’t directly serve with strong professional recommendations.
I’d be remiss if I didn’t offer my sincere gratitude to the dozens of clients over the last 17 years who placed their trust in me to help them in their homes and/or on their small business needs. Each project has been unique and I rely every day on the lessons learned in working with so many individuals and families (and the laughs we’ve shared too)! My current and former client list includes some of the most clever, warm, funny, caring, thoughtful and sincere people I’ve ever known – oh, and also nice – the primary requirement to me for a good working relationship.
When time allows, and the spirit moves me to get back to writing more, I pledge to use this platform to share topical information or useful resources.
